I’m returning to school to understand my music royalties, career better – Portable

Controversial Nigerian singer popularly known as Portable has revealed plans for his return to school, saying it will help him manage his music career and royalties coming to him better.

Portable whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola, who became famous for his hit track Zazu, said, the OND which he got from Kwara State Polytechnic has become inadequate for managing his business, but furthering his educational career would.

He said in a video on his Instagram page, “Even though I already have an OND from Kwara State Polytechnic, I still want to further my education so I can understand my music royalties and business deals better, especially for my record label, Zeh Nation.”

He promised to use his education to handle his record label, Zeh Nation, and oversee his music platforms without relying entirely on others.
