Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya

Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya, has assured President Bola Tinubu of the State’s support for his second term of office in 2027, while lauded the President for his initiatives that have introduced positive change across the country.

Yahaya stated this during the groundbreaking ceremony for a 184-hectare Agro-Livestock Industrial Zone in Gombe State, a project supported by Tinubu led administration with a ₦120 billion investment.

Excited by President’s intervention on the State’s livestock project, Yahaya pledged that Gombe people will follow him to the “battlefield blinded”, stressing they will work for his success in 2027 presidential election.

By God’s grace, his re-election is assured,” Yahaya said.

The governor highlighted the significance of Tinubu’s investment in the livestock sector, which has seen substantial growth since the President took office in 2023.

“If not for a President who loves his people and has the capacity and will, this transformation would not have happened.

“No Northern leader in 47 years of power considered investing ₦120 billion to transform the livestock sector, despite it being a predominantly Northern industry,” Yahaya added.

Tinubu’s commitment to developing the agricultural sector in Gombe and across Nigeria, assuring citizens that despite temporary hardships from ongoing reforms, better days lie ahead under Tinubu’s leadership.
