Eid-el-Kabir: Ganduje felicitates with Muslim ummah, urges sacrifice and charity

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has extended warm greetings to Muslims in Nigeria and across the world on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, Dr. Ganduje described the festival as a profound reminder of Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) steadfast faith and willingness to submit to the will of Almighty Allah.

He encouraged Muslims to draw inspiration from this act of devotion by embracing values such as sacrifice, generosity, and service to others.

“As we mark this sacred festival, I call on all Muslims to reflect on the essence of Eid-el-Kabir, which teaches us the importance of sacrifice, obedience to divine command, and the spirit of giving. Let us use this period to show kindness to our neighbours, extend a helping hand to the less privileged, and promote unity and peace in our communities,” Ganduje said.

Dr. Ganduje also urged Nigerians to remain committed in their prayers for the peace, stability, and prosperity of the country, especially as it continues its journey toward economic recovery and development under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership.

He noted that Eid-el-Kabir exemplifies the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, and compassion, which remain essential to nation-building and communal harmony.

The APC National Chairman prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) accepts the supplications and sacrifices of the faithful and grants everyone a joyous and peaceful celebration.
