2027: Kaduna ex-Speaker Zailani couldn’t provide anything in 20 years – Shehu Sani

The All Progressives Congress, APC Kaduna Central Senatorial District 2027 candidate, Shehu Sani has lashed out at the former Speaker of Kaduna State Hiuse of Assembly, Yusuf Zailani.

He said, Zailani could not provide any infrastructure in 20 years he spent in power, recalling that he was the one that constructed three hospitals in Zailani’s Local Government as a one time Senator.

Shehu Sani’s push back was at the backdrop of the ex-Speaker outcry that Kaduna APC leaders were deceiving President Bola Tinubu, describing them as those lacking lacking grassroot support to mobilise for Tinubu to win 2027 elections.

“You spend 20 years in the House of Assembly yet I am the one who built 3 hospitals in your Local Government, one is in your own Ward and I provide beds and mattresses and other necessary medical care today Women in labor can easily access health care during childbirth.

“You as Speaker failed to deliver APC in Kaduna Central, APC lost to 6 out of 7 Local Government in Kaduna.”

Senator Sani’s post triggered reactions with some people praising him and congratulated him for victory at the primary elections.

Meanwhile a party chieftain, Abubakar Mamadi, called on APC members and supporters to ignore Mr Zailani’s comments on President Tinubu and success of APC in the state in the coming elections.

“He is suffering from the trauma of defeat, he is a nobody, he has served his time and he cannot do anything” Mr Mamadi said ina video.

Mr Zailani currently represents Igabi Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly.
