Meanwhile, key locations in Dutse have been adorned with the campaign posters include Unity Pentagon, the Police Headquarters, Mai Kwaya Roundabout, Obasanjo Road, Muhammadu Buhari Street, Abdussalam Abubakar Street, and Abdullahi Mai Kano Road, among others.

The posters are also seen in major parts of Kano and strategic places in Ibadan, capital of Oyo State.

Speaking to journalists in Dutse, the National Secretary of the Nigeria Youths Awareness Group for Makinde 2027 (NYAG Makinde 2027), Alhaji Lawal Abdullahi, said the poster campaign marks the beginning of a national movement to draft Governor Makinde into the 2027 presidential race.

“His Excellency, Engineer Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde, has offered himself in service to Nigeria and Nigerians,” Abdullahi declared.

“We call on all lovers of democracy—regardless of party affiliation—to rally around him for the good of the country.”

He claimed that youth and civil society groups from parts of the country are supporting Makinde for presidency.
