He stated this during a campaign in Delta State in the South South, Nigeria, accused the would-be election riggers of undermining the future of Nigerians and their children.

Omo-Agege who is the Delta Central candidate of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, in 2027 general election, gave the stern warning on Thursday, in Asaba, saying, rigging and manipulation of elections results would not be tolerated, except the person wanted to die.

He insisted that some political elements wants to manipulate election results to undermine the future of Nigeria, vowed that attempts to rig the election would not be tolerated, using the phrase “rig and die” to emphasise his position.

He declared that anybody that didn’t want his life should rig and see the consequences. “If you don’t value your life, come and rig election,” he said.

“They are rigging your future, they are rigging the future of your children. We are waiting for them. Let them try. Rig and die. We are going to do it aura for aura. We are just looking at them.”

He rejected the “go to Court” slogan often said when election is rigged, insisted that election riggers should be killed on the spot.

He argued that electoral manipulation threatens voters’ interests and the future of the country, warning those involved in the electoral process against undermining the will of the electorate.
