APC: No vacancy for any other political party in 2027 – Yilwatda

The new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has declared that the ruling party will dominate the 2027 general elections, leaving no room for any opposition party.

Yilwatda made the statement on Tuesday when he received party supporters in a welcome rally organised by the League of APC Professionals at party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.

According to him, the APC is poised to retain the presidency and sweep all Governorship, National and State legislative seats across the country in the next election cycle.

“We will deliver the President, the Governors, the Senators, the House of Representatives and Houses of Assembly. There is no vacancy for any other political party in 2027”, he stressed.

The National Chairman further assured the group that young people would be carried along as the party prepares for the next elections, and pledged to work with them to fulfill the APC’s mandate.

He said, “No party in Nigeria, ever, has provided social protection for young people more than this party. The APC took the right decision by selecting that bridge between the young and the old. I am with you 100%.

“The opportunity for young people is bright under our president. The Renewed Hope agenda targets people like you, and I look forward to working with you”.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Marlin Daniel, congratulated Yilwatda on his emergence as National Chairman and expressed confidence in his capacity to reposition the party.

“We know your contributions before you became a politician, and we know that you will deliver this party. We want to thank you, appreciate you, and welcome you to your new office,” he said.
