APC: Yitwatda may be named Acting National Chairman
Strong indications on Wednesday pointed to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Nentawe Yilwatda from Plateau State as possible choice for appointment as the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
This followed the resignation of the former governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje some time ago.
Party insiders confirmed that Yilwatda may be announced today (Thursday) officially during a congress that has been scheduled.by the party’s National Executive Committee, NEC in Abuja.
The current Minister was appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in October 2024, replacing Betta Edu.
