Appeal for N1.4 million financial support for orthopedic medical treatment for indigene of Idah in Kogi East

A socio-cultural group operating under the aegis of ‘The Great-Idah Global Concept Association’ has appealed for financial support on behalf of a patient who need a critical orthopedic operation in a hospital.

After confirmation of the authenticity of the patient, CAPITAL POST is publishing the appeal to draw attention of the well-meaning individuals to come to the aid of the patient who is the son of a late prominent personality from Idah.

He was involved in a ghastly motor accident that resulted in a compound fracture on his leg. Since the incident, he has undergone two major orthopedic surgeries and is presently at the final stage of corrective treatment under the supervision of specialists.

Regrettably, financial constraints have delayed the completion of his care at the Dala Autopedic Hospital Kano.

The outstanding medical bill required for the final operation and rehabilitation stands at ₦1,400,000 (One Million, Four Hundred Thousand Naira). This procedure is critical to restoring his mobility and enabling him to return to productive life.

Out of respect for his dignity and privacy, the beneficiary declined open public exposure of his identity. The Association therefore serves as the intermediary, ensuring confidentiality, accountability, and transparency throughout the fundraising and payment process.

It is important to note that this patient has been bedridden for over 20 months, and this last intervention represents his opportunity to walk again, regain independence, and resume his livelihood.

We therefore appeal to corporate bodies, philanthropists, community leaders, and compassionate individuals to support this cause. No contribution is too small; every donation moves him closer to recovery and reintegration into society.

All donations shall be received through the Association’s account, and a full financial report, including evidence of hospital payment, will be publicly presented upon settlement of the bill.
