He wrote: “Earlier this morning, we gathered at the United Evangelical Church Headquarters, Ejule, for the thanksgiving service celebrating the glorious departure of my beloved mother, Mama Laruba Mary Zekeri.

“It was a moment of gratitude to God for the extraordinary grace, courage, and virtues she embodied. To honour her legacy of giving, I donated the sum of 5 million Naira for church projects, including zinc and solar power installations, as well as a cow and other items.

“My mother taught us that true fulfillment comes from giving, and today, we celebrate her by giving back to God and to the people she loved.

“Thank you to everyone who joined us all through the burial and the thanksgiving. Your love and prayers mean the world to my family. May her gentle soul continue to rest in peace.”
