‘My father, two uncles will gang, fight Buhari in afterlife’ – Seun Kuti

Son of the late Afrobeat legend, Seun Kuti has recalled how the late President Muhammadu Buhari ‘dealt and damaged his family’, saying he was consoled that his father, Fela Anikulapo Kuti and two of his uncles persecuted by late Buhari will gang and fight him in his afterlife.
Buhari died at a London hospital on Saturday and was buried in his hometown of Daura in Katsina State on Tuesday with national and international dignitaries in attendance.

Seun who is the son of the late Fela Anikulapo Kuti, claimed that, late Buhari damaged Kuti’s family when he was the military head of State than any other family in Nigeria.
He said, justice was not served in Buhari’s death in view of the crimes he allegedly committed against his family during his era as Military Head of State before he was removed through coup detat.

Seun lamented that his father and other uncles who were victims of Muhammadu Buhari’s persecution died before him.
Speaking in a video broadcast via his Instagram page, the singer said, “There’s nobody Buhari has offended and damaged like my family. Buhari dealt with my family, but his death is not any type of justice or victory for my family.
“My only regret is that my dad Fela, and my uncles Koye and Beko died before him; all better men than him. The only solace I can take from his death is that the three of them will gang up against him in the afterlife if there’s such a thing.”
