A pro-Tinubu women organisation operating under the aegis of
Nigerian Women for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (NW-P-BAT), a consortium of women organizations committed to the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Nyesom Wike, on the successful completion and commissioning of another remarkable round of infrastructural projects across the Federal Capital Territory.

In a statement on Saturday by the Director General of the group, Hajia Chief Amina Ina Abubakar, sent to CAPITAL POST in Abuja, said the commissioning exercise, which concluded on Friday, 17th July 2026, marks another milestone in the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The numerous projects, strategically spread across Abuja, have transformed the Nation’s capital into one of Africa’s most modern and rapidly developing cities.

Speaking on behalf of millions of Nigerian women, the National Leader of NW-P-BAT, Ina Abubakar, described the achievements recorded in the FCT under President Tinubu’s administration as unprecedented since the creation of Abuja as Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory.

According to her, Abuja has experienced a level of infrastructural development unmatched in the history of the city. New roads, bridges, interchanges, public facilities, urban renewal projects and improved environmental aesthetics have collectively given the capital city a new identity worthy of Nigeria’s status as the Giant of Africa.

She noted that the transformation of Abuja has greatly improved the confidence of both local and international investors, making the city more attractive for business, tourism and international engagements.

“The visible transformation of Abuja speaks for itself. Every resident and visitor can see the remarkable changes. These projects have improved transportation, enhanced economic activities and projected Nigeria positively before the international community.”

NW-P-BAT further observed that the Renewed Hope Agenda is equally evident across the country through massive investments in critical infrastructure.

Particular commendation was given to the reconstruction of the Abuja-Lokoja Highway, a strategic economic corridor linking the Federal Capital Territory with the southern parts of Nigeria. The road, originally awarded over two decades ago, had suffered years of slow progress and abandonment. Under President Tinubu, the project was reviewed, redesigned into a concrete pavement highway and accelerated significantly, bringing it close to completion. This development has greatly improved the movement of people, goods and services while reducing travel time and boosting economic activities.

The organization also acknowledged similar interventions on major federal highways across the country, describing them as clear evidence of purposeful leadership committed to national development.

On security, NW-P-BAT applauded the Federal Government for strengthening intelligence gathering and improving security operations across the federation.

The successful rescue and reunion of the kidnapped pupils and teachers from Owole Community was cited as a demonstration of the administration’s commitment to protecting the lives of Nigerians. According to the organization, the swift response by security agencies restored public confidence and demonstrated that the government places high priority on the safety and welfare of its citizens.

The group equally praised President Tinubu’s Students’ Loan Programme, describing it as one of the most impactful social intervention programmes in Nigeria’s educational history.

According to Hajia Chief Amina Ina Abubakar, countless mothers who previously struggled to finance their children’s education now have renewed hope because of easier access to educational funding. She described the initiative as a bold investment in the future of Nigerian youths and a major relief for families burdened by rising educational costs.

She stated that previous administrations failed to adequately address the financial barriers preventing many qualified Nigerian students from accessing higher education, while the present administration has introduced practical solutions capable of transforming the nation’s educational landscape.

NW-P-BAT therefore reaffirmed its unwavering support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, stressing that continuity remains essential for the consolidation of ongoing reforms and the completion of critical infrastructure projects across Nigeria.

The organization called on Nigerian women across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory to continue supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda, emphasizing that women and children have become major beneficiaries of the administration’s economic, educational and social policies.

The group maintained that President Tinubu’s leadership has laid a solid foundation for sustainable national development and expressed confidence that a second term would further accelerate economic growth, infrastructure expansion, job creation, educational opportunities and national prosperity.
