The All Progressives Congress Campaign Council (APC-PCC) Support Groups Mobilisation Directorate has launched an online registration portal to coordinate support groups campaigning for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

The portal, which is scheduled to open on Sunday, October 18, 2026, will remain open for five days, with interested groups expected to register through

The Director of the Directorate, Silas Agara, disclosed this at a press conference in Abuja on Sunday, saying the exercise was aimed at building a stronger, better-coordinated and nationwide support network for Tinubu’s re-election campaign.

“Support groups are a vital link between the party, the campaign organisation and the Nigerian people. They bring together communities, professional associations, interest groups and volunteers, helping to communicate the administration’s policies, explain its achievements and engage citizens on issues that matter to them.

“Our mandate is to coordinate these groups, strengthen their organisational capacity and ensure that their activities complement the broader objectives of the APC presidential campaign,” he stated.

The Directorate called on all support groups and networks working towards Tinubu’s re-election to register within the five-day window, regardless of whether they had previously registered with the party or other campaign structures.

It said the exercise would enable the Directorate to verify the groups, determine their geographical spread and assess their organisational capacity to facilitate effective coordination.

Agara said, “This registration exercise will enable us to verify participating groups, understand their geographical spread and organisational capacity, and establish a reliable database for effective coordination and nationwide engagement.

“I urge every group to take this exercise seriously. Our objective is to build a unified mobilisation structure that is organised, accountable, responsive and prepared for the demands of the campaign ahead”.

He said the mobilisation drive would be anchored on the achievements of the Tinubu administration and its Renewed Hope Agenda, highlighting reforms introduced over the past three years to address longstanding structural challenges and promote sustainable economic growth.

According to him, the reforms include the removal of the fuel subsidy, the unification of foreign exchange rates, measures to strengthen local government autonomy and comprehensive tax reforms.

He also cited the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, which provides financing opportunities for eligible students, and the Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation, established to broaden access to consumer credit, as initiatives introduced by the administration.

In the health sector, Agara said the Nigeria Health Sector Renewal Investment Initiative was supporting efforts to improve healthcare delivery, strengthen primary healthcare and expand access to specialised treatment, including cancer care.

He said the Directorate was committed to communicating the administration’s policies and achievements while engaging Nigerians on issues affecting their lives.

“We believe that the progress being made provides a basis for continued reform, stronger institutions and improved national prosperity. Our responsibility is to communicate the administration’s achievements accurately, explain its policies clearly and listen to the legitimate concerns of Nigerians.

“The task ahead is not merely to promote a political message. It is to engage citizens respectfully, provide credible information and demonstrate that the Renewed Hope Agenda can deliver meaningful improvements in their lives,” he said.

Agara urged support groups across the country to intensify grassroots engagement by taking the administration’s message to communities, workplaces, markets and neighbourhoods.

“The 2027 election will demand organisation, discipline and sustained engagement. By working together, we can build a formidable national network that communicates the administration’s record, engages the electorate and supports President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid,” he said.
