The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Nyesom Wike has declared that the governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma is not a straightforward person, saying he doesn’t like him.

Speaking during a media chat in Abuja on Tuesday, Wike said he dislikes dealing with people not straightforward and insisted the Rainbow Coalition had come to stay.

Wike said he supported Uzodinma against his ally Samuel Anyanwu only for him to turn around and start attacking him and his Rainbow Coalition.

He explained that the PBT/Rainbow Coalition was all about bringing APC members and other political parties together to boost President Bola Tinubu’s re-election.

According to him, Anyanwu, a former PDP scribe contested for Governorship of Imo, but he supported Uzodinma in the election.

“I dislike dealing with people who are not straightforward”, insisted that the Rainbow Coalition had come to stay.

Wike and Uzodinma are at daggers drawn over political issues. Wike is a member of a faction of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, while Senator Hope Uzodinma is of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Wike said: “When you see Hope Uzodinma, ask him, when he was going for a second term, did I support him or not?

“I supported Uzodinma against the PDP candidate who was my national secretary.

“Rainbow Coalition has come to stay, and there is nothing anybody can do about it.

“I deal with people who are straightforward.”
