Abuja land speculator, Felix Osuji Modebe reportedly gone into hiding after swindling victims of over N150 miĺlion
In a shocking development from Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, authorities are hunting for notorious land speculator Sir Felix Osuji Modebe.
He’s accused of defrauding dozens of innocent buyers out of over 150 million naira through fake property sales in Abuja’s Lokogoma district.
Modebe allegedly sold plots in his so-called “Orchard Estate” land that turned out to be owned by others. Desperate buyers handed over millions, armed only with fake documents issued by his company, Century 21 Real Estate Limited.
One victim, who lost 12 million naira, told us exclusively.
At least 50 victims have come forward so far, with total losses topping 150 million naira.
