2027 Presidential candidate leads ‘Tinubu must go’ protest in Abuja
The African Action Congress, AAC, presidential candidate in next year’s general election, Omoleye Swore on Tuesday led a ‘Tinibu-must-go’ protest in Abuja.
Leading the protesters, Sowore demands Tinubu’s exit as campaigns have kick-started across the nation by all political parties fielding candidates.

Tinubu returned from his annual working vacation and celebrated independence in Lagos before returning to the presidential villa, Abuja on Sunday 4th October, 2026 only to be greeted with protest on Tuesday in the heart of Abuja.
Tinubu is the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, seeking a second term of office.
In a video, which has gone viral, Sowore could be seen chanting, ‘Tinubu must go’ across some streets in the nation capital city, Abuja, while mobilising other protesters to chant.
Placards with inscription ‘Tinubu-must-go’ were being waved and displayed to draw attention of passersby.
