BREAKING. Imo West Senatorial District: Uzodinma loses as Court orders publication of Okorocha as candidate

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered the Independent Nahional Electoral Commission, INEC to publish the name of Rochas Okorocha as candidate to represent Imo West Senatorial District.

The High Court Judge, Obiora Egwuatu has ordered the governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma to stop parading himself as the candidate of Imo West Senatorial District on the platform of APC.

Egwuatu held that Hope Uzodinma didn’t the APC primary election which was conducted on 18th May, 2026, and monitored by INEC officials.
The judge in delivering his judgement stated that evidence before the Court proved that ex-governor Okorocha won the majority votes and ordered that his name be published as the candidate.
