Soludo’s All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA polled 422,664 and was declared winner, followed by the All Progressives Congress, APC, with 99,445 votes, LP came third with 10,576 votes, while Nwosu of the ADC placed fifth, with 8,208 votes.

Speaking at a press conference in his Nnewi office on Sunday, Moghalu, decried excessive vote buying in the conduct of the election.

He said, even children have voter card and they were allowed to vote after money was offered to them.
“These are issues that raise serious questions about the integrity of the process,” he added.

In the same vein, John Nwosu of the ADC alleged that voters were induced from N3,000 to N20,000 across polling units in Anambra State, insisting that the election was not free, fair and credible.

However, some observers commended the general improvement in logistics, technology deployment, and voter management compared to previous elections in the state.
