‘Fake Agency’: Gbajabiamila blows hot, threatens N10 billion lawsuit against Adeniyi as deals go bad

The Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila has called on the Director General of the fake Presidential Intervention and Promotion Council, Prince Matthew Adeyemi Adeniyi to withdraw allegations against him within 72 hours or face defamatory liability of N10 billion.
Gbajabiamila spoke through his legal team, saying Adeniyi’s allegation of corruption, abuse of office, fraud and murder against him has put him in bad light, urging him to retract or face defamation suit and criminal proceedings.

In a letter titled: “cease and desist” demand dated July 6, by Kemi Pinheiro, SAN, described Adeyemi press conference address as “unknown” and described the address made on 25 June as false, malicious, and entirely without factual basis as well as it is unfounded.
The lawyer maintained that Adeyemi was out to destroy Femi Gbajabiamila’s hard earned reputation in order to erode public confidence of his office.

Mr Pinheiro said Gbajabiamila built his reputation over the years as a former Speaker from 2019 to 2023 and now as Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu.
The law firm asserted that Gbajabiamila’s record speaks of integrity which has become his personal and professional assets and would be allowed to be destroyed at once, noting that Mr Adeyemi’s press conference, which was widely circulated across print, broadcast and social media platforms, portrayed Mr Gbajabiamila as “corrupt, dishonest, criminally culpable, morally bankrupt, administratively incompetent, a murderer and unfit to occupy public office.”
