No States creation until after 2027 – Senator Shehu Sani
Ex-Senator Shehu who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District has asked those pushing for States creation to relax their efforts till after general election in 2027.
The ex-lawmaker maintained that creating States at this time,e was unrealistic for so many reasons.
In a post on his verified X handle on Tuesday, Sani reacted to the 10th National Assembly joint Constitution Review Comittee which indicated that six States would be created.
The Committee said one State each from the six geopolitical zones will be created.
But Sani advised those behind agitating for States creation not to waste their time for now.
