Portable blows hot over plans to blacklist him, warns senior colleagues in music industry

Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as ‘Portable’ has warned his senior colleagues in music industry of plans to blacklist him over misconduct.
He warned the ace rapper, Olamide to be careful with him. His outburst followed popular influencer, Tunde Perry’s disclosure that he attended a meeting where some top music executives blacklisted Portable for gross misconduct.

Portable’s unruly behavious in the industry, Perry said, was not only embarrassing the industry, but a dent on senior executives as well as eroding chances of growth of the up-and-coming artists being assisted by the established artists and executives.
Perry further claimed that Olamide is now sceptical about assisting up-and-coming artists due to his experience with Portable, who consistently criticised him after assisting him with his breakthrough track ‘Zazu Zeh.’

Reacting, Portable, in a video shared on social media, blasted Tunde Perry, Olamide, and the music executives who blacklisted him, stressing he does not need the support of any music executive to succeed in the music industry.
Portable boasted that his fans are enough for him, adding that he is currently a bigger figure in the music industry than the promoters and artists, who blacklisted him.
He said, “I am bigger than them. Who are those who want to blacklist? I heard that Tunde Perry said Olamide and his circle of music executives called for me to be blacklisted. Are you guys, my fans or my God? Are you feeding me?
“I have my own fans. I am bigger than any f**king person. Anyone who wants to help you, won’t stress you. Don’t use the assistance you gave me in the past to stress me. Are you the only one who has ever assisted me?
“There are a lot of people who helped me without stressing me. Why would you say they shouldn’t play my songs again? Olamide, don’t mess with me. If you mess with me, I will return the energy. Stay on your own lane.”
