Sunday Igboho to return from exile for full reintegration

There are strong indications that the popular Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, is set to return from exile back to the country after spending five years away from home.
Popularly called Igboho, he is set to return after key traditional rulers were said to have intervened in his matter with the Federal Government.

Names of traditional rulers who intervened were released by Sunday Igboho’s Spokesman, Olayomi Koiki as the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II.
They have cleared Igboho to return home.

Koiki maintained that Igboho’s return date has not been fixed yet, but monarchs have cleared him, adding that the date for his homecoming will be announced anytime soon.
“This is a moment of joy for Ibadanland and Yorubaland as a whole. Chief Adeyemo is now cleared to return to Nigeria and is no longer being sought by government authorities,” Koiki said.
He added, “With the support of our royal father, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Sunday Adeyemo is now free to return home. He is a free man and will soon be back in Ibadan.”
