Text: Revelation 12:8-9 NLT
[8] And the dragon lost the battle, and he and his angels were forced out of heaven. [9] This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.

John 8:44 NLT
[44] For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Revelation 9:11 NLT

The devil hates humanity. He hates Christians more. The devil hates you because you are serving God and holding on to God.
He is the source of our misery, suffering and struggles.
He is the one who brings sickness, pain, oppression and even death.
There is nothing that comes from him that is good.

1 Peter 5:8 NLT
[8] Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

1 John 3:8 NLT
[8] But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.

We are supposed to do what Jesus came to do: destroy the works of the devil; not to do what Satan is doing.

1 John 3:9-13 NLT
[9] Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God. [10] So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God. [11] This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another. [12] We must not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and killed his brother. And why did he kill him? Because Cain had been doing what was evil, and his brother had been doing what was righteous. [13] So don’t be surprised, dear brothers and sisters, if the world hates you.

Luke 12:15 NLT
[15] Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.”

Life is not defined by what you have and the quality of God inside of you.
God is depending and looking unto you.

You must submit to God and when the devil comes, you can resist him.

The only strategy God gave us is consistent prayer life.
When you are not working with the Holy Spirit, you are vulnerable.
