2027: Adamawa ex-Senator accuses Babachir lawal of engaging in contract to work for Tinubu in ADC
Ex-Senator Elisha Ishaku Abbo has berated the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir David Lawal, accusing him of executing a contract to work for President Bola Tinubu ahead of 2027 general election.
Describing the former SGF as a hypocrite for crying out when he claimed that his party, the African Democratic Congress, ADC didn’t observe due diligence before declaring Alhaji Abubakar as its 2027 presidential candidate, Abbo who formerly represented Adamawa North in the Senate said, Babachi Lawal was playing double standard.

He insisted that Lawal was causing crisis in ADC to protect Tinubu’s interest, adding that he was the architect of ADC crisis in Adamawa.
He wondered why Babachir Lawal didn’t complain when the party rigged in his favour and now complaining when his preferred candidate lost out.
Reacting on his Facebook page, the ex-lawmaker further alleged that Lawal contributed to the destruction of the ADC structure in Adamawa the state and questioned his loyalty to the party.
