BREAKING: Kwankwaso’s son announced as Deputy Governorship candidate in Kano
The eldest son of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso,
Mustapha was on Monday announced as Deputy Governorship candidate on the platform of the National Democratic Congress, NDC in Kano.
He will contest on a joint ticket with Aminu Gwarzo, who is the party’s governorship candidate in the 2027 general election.
Mustapha Kwankwaso is the first son of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the NDC’s vice-presidential candidate.
This development was confirmed in a statement issued on Monday by the Spokesman of the Kwankwasiyya movement Habibu Saleh Mohammed in Kano.
According to him, “HE Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo unveiled Hon. Mustapha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as running mate for the 2027 Governorship Election.”
The announcement formally positions Mustapha Kwankwaso as the deputy governorship candidate on the NDC ticket ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Kano State.
