General Rabe died from snakebite – Family source
The family of the late Major General Abdullahi Rabe has disclosed that the abducted ex-Military chief died in captivity as a result of snakebite.
The disclosure followed earlier reports by the Katsina State Government that he died of heart attack and diabetic complications.
The family source also hinted that his wife was still in captivity, contrary to earlier claims that she has been releasd.
Speaking to DW, the family source said, the snakebite that killed him.
They expressed concern over the continued stay in captivity of the general’s wife, fearing that she might not survive.
Her continued stay in captivity has raised tension much more after the death of General Rabe.
Security challenges, particularly kidnappings and bandit attacks, remain a major concern across several parts of Nigeria. The incident involving General Rabe’s family has once again highlighted the dangers faced by ordinary citizens and prominent individuals alike.
