Ondo Federal lawmaker, Omolafe is dead

Member representing Akure South/Akure North Federal Constituency, Hon. Adedayo Omolafe is dead.

One of his aides who didn’t want his name mentioned told our correspondent, that the lawmaker died in the early hours of Monday.

“Hon. Omolafe was not sick as at yesterday”, the aide said, they were together in Akure, Ondo State capital.

“He was not sick, we were still together yesterday (Sunday) morning, this is so sad, a terrible blow dealt on Akure,” he said.

Popularly called expensive, Hon. Omolafe was last seen at the National Assembly lobby on the day they were proceeding on their annual recess.
