Online Media, NAS FM chapels inaugurated in Adamawa
The Online Media and NAS FM Chapels have been inaugurated by the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), at the NUJ Press Centre in Yola, Adamawa State.
Media executives, journalists from various media platforms and top government officials graced the occasion.

The Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Adamawa State Council,
Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi, speaking at the occasion congratulated members of the newly inaugurated chapels and urged them to uphold the ethics and professionalism of journalism.
Seven executive officers were inaugurated to lead the two newly formed chapels and to spend a three-year tenure using the NUJ constitution.
For the Adamawa Online Media Chapel, Vangawa Bolgent of The Gazette News Nigeria was sworn in as chairman, Lucy Musa of Insight News as secretary, and Joy Dennis of The Guardian News Nigeria as treasurer.
For the NAS FM Chapel, Dominic Yohanna emerged as chairman, while Sa’adatu Abubakar was sworn in as secretary, Nafisat Hassan Belel as assistant secretary, Bello Abdullahi as treasurer, Peace Francis Danck as financial secretary, and Polycarp Amough as auditor.
The Adamawa State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Barrister Leader Leneke, congratulated the newly inaugurated executives and commended the NUJ leadership in the state for promoting democracy and responsible journalism.
He urged journalists, particularly members of the Online Media Chapel, to uphold professional standards by ensuring that reports are properly verified before publication.
Representing the NUJ National President, Comrade Zare Baba commended the Adamawa Online Media Chapel for meeting all constitutional requirements for its inauguration and urged members to complement the work of traditional media rather than view themselves as competitors.
