BREAKING: Terrorists reject N155m ransom, threatens to marry beautiful female captives, kill others
Kwara terrorists have rejected the sum of N155 million ransom for 176 captives and threatened to marry beautiful female abductees and kill the rest.
This development comes after the captives have spent six months in captivity without rescue.

The threat was revealed by some families of the abductees in Kaiama Local Government Council of Kwara State, appealing for intervention by the Federal Government.
According to them, the sum of N155 million was raised through crowdfunding, but was rejected by the terrorists.
While speaking on the BBC Hausa Service, Kaiama indigene, who identified himself as Abdul Ibrahim said, “the affected communities had raised over ₦155 million through crowdfunding to secure the victims’ release”, but the abductors rejected the ransom, leaving the captives in their camps.
According to Ibrahim, families have exhausted every available option, including peaceful protests, without success.
He called on the Federal and Kwara State Governments as well as security agencies swiftly rescue the victims before terrorists carry out their threat, adding that families of captives are traumatic.

“We have done everything within our means. The money was raised, yet our people have not been released. Their suffering continues, and families are living in agony,” he said.
Dan Sardauna Kaigama and Suleiman Bukata, both indigenes expressed the belief that Federal and State governments would muscle courage to rescue the captives, stressing the rescue of Oyo Schoolchildren by security agents rekindled their hope that all was not lost in Kwara.
Kaigama pleaded with government to rescue the captives, adding the delay was endangering lives of the victims the more.
