Tension grips Plateau community as man on way to church shot dead
Tension has triggered on Sunday at Fann community in Barkin Ladi Local Government Council of Plateau State as a man who was going to church in the morning was allegedly shot dead
The attack, according to residents occured at about 8.00am.

Fann is a community in Barkin Ladi Local Government Council in Plateau State in the North Central Nigeria.
A resident who identified himself as Erica Dung, decried the incessant attack across the communities of Barkin Ladi, urging security agents to intervene.
According to him, unprovoked attacks and killings have been frequent by the same circle of arsonists in communities across the local government area.
He called on security agents in Barkin Ladi and neighbouring communities to rise up before the attacks becomes unmanageable.
In his swift reaction on Sunday, ‘The Berom Youth Moulders’ Publicity Secretary, Rwang Tengwong, condemned the killing and called for urgent measures to protect residents.
He called for security patrol in troublesome areas and the neighbouring communities where arsonists might be coming from.
He also called on the Plateau State Government and security agencies to identify those responsible for the killing and bring them to justice, while urging residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious movements to the appropriate authorities.
