Governor Uba Sani gets Linkway Heroes of Peace Award, 2025

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani has been named a recipient of the prestigious Champion of Interfaith Tolerance Award by the Linkway Outreach Africa in conjunction with Linkway Diplomats Inc., Atlanta Georgia, USA.

The award comes barely two years into the administration of Uba Sani as Executive Governor of Kaduna State. According to the organization, Governor Sani has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the principles of peace, religious inclusiveness, and social harmony in a state known for its complex diversity.

In a statement by the Linkway Outreach Africa’s Country Director, Pastor Daniel I. Adejo on Friday, he said, Kaduna State under Uba Sani’s leadership has witnessed a significant shift toward proactive dialogue and strengthening of Inter Religious Council.

The statement which was made available to journalists read in part: “Governor Uba Sani has demonstrated that leadership is not just about infrastructure, but about the soul of the people which he had worked assiduously to protect.

“Uba Sani’s religious tolerance has unarguably set a template of peace for others to follow by treating every faith with equal respect. He has built a bridge that others must now follow in the protection of sacred lives.

“The formal presentation of the Golden Image Award will be accompanied by the launch of a digital archive documenting the Governor’s peace initiatives in due course.”
