‘Nigerian men in politics are ass lickers, quick to grovel’ – Aisha Yesufu hits Fubara

One of Nigeria’s female human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu has expressed disappointment after Rivers States governor, Siminalayi Fubara fell for Wike’s trick by recognising his Rainbow Coalition at a rally in Portharcourt on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.

Aisha Yesufu was reacting to Fubara’s address at the unveiling of Rainbow Coalition candidates for the 2027 elections at Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt, saying he has recognised Nyesom Wike’s leadership.

The former governor of Rivers State and founder of Rainbow Coalition, Nyesom Wike presented flags to various candidates, underscoring support for candidates of his choice.

Both Wike and Fubara agreed to support and work for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the occasion.

The development triggered Yesufu’s anger and.declared that “Nigerian men in politics are ass lickers and very cowardly.”

This remark followed claims of a social media post that labelled Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, as ‘First Female Governor of Rivers Rivers State’.

of Fubara declaring the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, leader of political actors in Rivers State.
Fubara told his supporters who have been behind him throughout his crisis with Wike to realise that he’s now part of the political family of the Rainbow Coalition led by Wike.

Fubara openly declared support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and those of Rainbow Coalition candidates.

Yesifu insisted that Fubara represents Nigerian men in politics who are quick to grovel that even Nigerian women are stronger than them.

She argued: “Women in politics were usually bolder and more willing to stand their ground, urging men to show greater conviction.

“That is the typical behavior of Nigerian MEN in politics. They are quick to grovel, ass lickers and very cowardly!!

“The women are usually bolder and can stand their grounds.

“Please own your gender with your full chest!!!!!”
