Unemployed Nigerians strategise to mobilise youths to secure landslide for Tinubu in 2027

A pro-Tinubu group operating under the aegis of the Coalition of Civil Societies, Informal Sector and Unemployed Youth Association of Nigeria, ISUYAN in a significant move, are strategizing to secure a landslide victory for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
The group which represents over 10 million members across the 774 Local Government Areas of the country, has formally declared its nationwide alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu through the Door To Door Network structure of Chief Government Ekpomopolo.

The declaration was made during the association’s maiden national engagement on job creation and youth empowerment by the president Ebi Zoifa , themed “Audacity of Hope,” held at the Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja.
The event brought together key stakeholders, youth leaders, and civil society actors under a unified platform aimed at advancing economic inclusion and grassroots development.

A communiqué issued at the end of the summit and jointly endorsed by ISUYAN leadership and a coalition of civil society organizations led by Amb Meka Felix, the association announced a sweeping resolution to deploy its vast grassroots network in support of the current administration.
Central to the resolution is a nationwide political mobilization strategy, which includes door-to-door engagement, youth sensitization, and data-driven outreach efforts across communities. ISUYAN confirmed it would integrate its existing structures into a coordinated campaign framework ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The association also pledged full electoral support for President Tinubu’s re-election, citing what it described as “measurable progress in youth inclusion, job creation, and economic stimulation.”
ISUYAN commended several government institutions and private sector contributors for their roles in advancing employment and stability. Among those recognized were the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and the Federal Ministry of Youth Development for implementing youth focused policies and empowerment programs.
Special mention was given to Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, whose leadership of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited was credited with creating employment opportunities and contributing to the protection of critical national assets in the Niger Delta region.
As part of its resolutions, ISUYAN confer honorary awards on distinguished leaders and institutions. President Tinubu receive the title Grand Commander of Youth Empowerment & Economic Inclusion, while Ekpemupolo was honored as Champion of Grassroots Employment & National Assets Protection. Leadership of the NDDC and the Federal Ministry of Youth Development was recognized for contributions towards humanity.
The association used the platform to appeal for deeper collaboration with government agencies, development partners, and private sector stakeholders. It outlined key areas of support needed to sustain its nationwide operations, including access to funding, grants, enterprise development programs, and inclusion in policy making processes.
According to the communiqué, such partnerships would accelerate job creation, strengthen economic resilience, and enhance national stability, particularly within Nigeria’s vast informal sector.
Observers note that ISUYAN’s endorsement represents a potentially influential grassroots movement, given its claimed nationwide reach and focus on unemployed youths and informal sector participants a demographic critical to Nigeria’s electoral and economic landscape.
In his closing remarks, ISUYAN National President, Ebi Clifford Zuofa, emphasized that the resolution goes beyond political endorsement, describing it as “a strategic alliance between governance and the grassroots engine of Nigeria’s economy.”
Amb Meka Felix, speaking on behalf of the coalition of civil society organizations, reaffirmed the group’s commitment to ensuring that the ideals of the Audacity of Hope translate into tangible socio economic outcomes for millions of Nigerians.
With its structured mobilization plan and expansive network, ISUYAN’s move signals an early and organized buildup toward the 2027 elections, positioning the association as a key stakeholder in Nigeria’s evolving political and economic narrative.
As the nation continues to grapple with unemployment and economic challenges, the effectiveness of such grassroots driven initiatives may prove pivotal in shaping both policy outcomes and electoral dynamics in the years ahead.
