2027: APC Plateau Forum backs Tinubu, Mutfwang for second term

An All Progressives Congress (APC) support group, APC Plateau State Forum, Abuja (APSFA), has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Plateau State Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for a second term, citing what it described as their impactful performance in office.

The endorsement was announced on Tuesday in Abuja by the Chairman of the Forum, Hon. Yakubu Pam Sakondong, during a press briefing where the group expressed confidence in the leadership of both the president and the governor ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to the Forum, its decision was informed by what it termed “visible achievements” recorded by the Tinubu administration at the federal level and the Mutfwang-led government in Plateau State within their current tenure.

The group also commended the leadership of the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, noting that his reforms have strengthened internal party structures and promoted inclusiveness among members.

“As we approach the 2027 elections, APSFA unequivocally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to contest as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria and Governor Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of Plateau State for their second terms on office. Their party leadership at the Federal and State levels gives us confidence in their ability and commitment to continue to do things right in the party and by extension Nigeria.

“We use this opportunity to call on all sons and daughters of Plateau State, as well as Nigerians across the country, to join this growing development of a united and progressive APC. Under the leadership of Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, our party is building a structure where every member is recognized, valued, and treated equally.

“Together, we must continue to support reforms and leadership that are strengthening our party and positioning it for continued national development.
