BREAKING: Nafiu Bala, Leke Abejide expelled, Kachikwu escapes hammer at convention

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC and member representing Yagba Federal Constituency of Kogi State, Hon. Leke Abejide has been expelled from party on Tuesday.
Also expelled is the self acclaimed factional national Chairman of ADC, Nafiu Bala Gombe.

Bala was also a former deputy national chairman that plunged the party into trouble.
Other troublesome members expelled are Kenneth Ehiator, Stella Chukwu, and Elias Adiukwu.

However, the former presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, Dumebi Kachikwu has escaped the hammer of the party for reasons yet to be known.
Kachikwu has gone to sleep after the general election only to wake up to attempt to factionalise party after coalition has gone deep beyond his reach.
The embattled members were rusticated at the ongoing Senator David Mark-led national convention in Abuja.
The party’s national convention was invited to approve the expulsion of the affected members on Tuesday.
Binos Yaroe, Senator representing Adamawa south, moved the motion for their expulsion.
The motion was unanimously approved.
