President Bola Tinubu’s Kaduna outing for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC North West zonal rally on Saturday has raised concerns over possible illness, even as the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) Omoyele Sowore drew attention of the public to video on his verified X handle and Instagram.

Sowore said the President may have a stroke, but Nigerian government would not talk about it.

Sowore made the allegation in a post on X while reacting to a video of Tinubu at the Kaduna rally on Saturday.

The video showed part of Tinubu’s entry into the venue which was what Sowore might have observed when he questioned the health status of the President.

The activist accused the presidency of hoarding information from Nigerians.

Sowore said he was personally concerned about the president’s well-being, which he said began when the Nigerian leader travelled to France and did not return as expected.

“The Nigerian political class is of the worst variety when it comes to their ability to deceive themselves and Nigerians,” Sowore wrote.

“I suspect this man may have suffered a stroke and that they are covering it up, but his appearance in this video from Kaduna rally yesterday is troubling about his health,” he added.

“These politicians are sick! Sick people!” he wrote.

Sowore continues to interrogate President’s trip to France to reveal what he actually travelled for.

Tinubu returned to Lagos on September 29 after spending about four weeks in the United Kingdom and France.

The opposition figures have also suspected issues and urged the presidency to reveals what Tinubu went to France to do.

The president had left Nigeria on August 30 for what his handlers described as a working vacation. His return did not end speculation about his health, with critics continuing to question his physical condition and the frequency of his international trips.Follow Politics

However, Tinubu has dismissed concerns about his health, insisting that he remains fit to perform his presidential duties.
