APC chieftain Ugonoh backs Tinubu’s bold reforms, second term bid

Stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Governorship aspirant ,Alhaji Saidu Ugohoh has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms and courageous approaches will benefit Nigerians and provide a better path to prosperity .
Alhaji Ugonoh also commended the presidential campaign organisation of the President for a successful flag-off in Kaduna state stressing that the turn out and further commitment of President Tinubu to continue to push for the interest of generality of Nigerians should not be trivialized by the antics of the opposition parties whose only aim is the wrestle power without properly addressing how best they can offer better leadership .

The United States based businessman in a statement , expressed concerns that Nigerian has reached a point when those seeking public offices should clearly define pathways to clear prosperity, not rhetorics and sentiments that offer no solutions and have stood in the way of progress over the decades .
Alhaji Ugonoh who reaffirmed his support for President Tinubu’s second term bid explained that although economic reforms have often come with pains and hardship , the president’s acknowledgement of those challenges shows insensitivity and urged Nigerians to trust the process.

He pointed out that the campaign of the opposition parties only plays on the intelligence of the people without addressing how they intend to react to the yearnings and aspirations of the people with clear timelines.
According to him ,patriotism and statesmanship entails that those who strive for leadership display honesty and sees themselves as servants and not just people that are hungry for power .
“All over the world , there are pains and challenges of reforms and what is most outstanding is always about what the leadership is doing .
“And in my opinion , President Tinubu has acknowledged these challenges and pains , and what that means is that once a leader is not self delusional ,that leader is concerned and working towards resolving such challenges .
“While I commend the presidential campaign flag-off I want to plead with Nigerians to see the sincerity of this president and allow him a little more time .
“I see the opposition spinning all sorts of things but that is the work of the opposition , they are not expected to commend the President especially in Nigeria . But the people must be able to see that they are merely making certain promises ,including that of subsidy restoration just to gain public applauses and grab power .
“I saw a massive turn out at the flag-off I listened to the president once again and I am appealing that the president means well and should be given more time”.
