INEC declares APC’s Umar Namadi as winner of Jigawa governorship
Jigawa State Deputy governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC has been declared winner of Saturday’s governorship and State House of Assemblies election.
Namadi won the election in a keenly contested election with Mustapha Sule Lamido of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC Collation Officer, Professor Zayyanu Umar, declared him winner in Dutse, capital of Jigawa State on Sunday.
The 2023 governorship and House of Assembly elections were conducted in Jigawa state on Saturday, March 18.
