Bandit kingpin Kachalla killed in rival gunfire
A notorious bandit leader, Kachalla Mu’azu has reportedly been killed in rival clash.
Six other gang members were also killed during a gunfire by a well armed rival group, this report was according to Zagazola Makama, a security online news platform that is conversant with the happenings around bandits and terrorists in the northern region of Nigeria.

The incident happened at about 7:30 pm on Wednesday in Zamfara forest around Mada in Gusau LGA.
The newspaper quoted sources as saying the identities of the other six bandits killed in the incident were not immediately known.
“Mu’azu and his associates were reportedly returning from Yankara Market when they were ambushed by members of a rival armed group who had laid in wait along their route,” Makama said.
“The ensuing confrontation resulted in the deaths of Mu’azu and six of his associates.
“Mu’azu was said to have been a prominent bandit commander linked to criminal activities and attacks affecting communities in Gusau and other parts of Zamfara, as well as areas of neighbouring Katsina State.”
Makama said his death is expected to have implications for the activities of armed groups operating around the Gusau axis.
Zagazola stated it is unclear unclear whether the killing will lead to any immediate change in the security situation.
Security agencies are expected to continue monitoring the area following the reported clash and to establish further details about the rival groups involved.
Zamfara is in the North West Nigeria and has been a hotbed of bandits, terrorists and other non-state actors unleashing mayhem on the people at will.
Zamfara State Police Command was yet to officially confirm the development as at Thursday.
